Testimonials

Miriam Molo

Community Leader

Before attending AfyaFix’s nutrition sessions, I found it difficult to provide my children with balanced meals. Through the training, I learned how important nutrients such as proteins, vitamins, and iron are for children’s growth and well-being. Today, I prepare meals that include all the essential nutrients, and my family is healthier, stronger, and happier. As a mother, I now feel confident and empowered to make the right nutrition choices.

Youth

As a young person, I rarely thought about how the food I eat affects my health. Through AfyaFix’s youth nutrition program, I learned the importance of key nutrients such as calcium, iron, and proteins for energy, focus, and long-term well-being. Now I make healthier food choices every day, and I feel stronger, more focused in my studies, and more engaged in my community.

Nurse

As a nurse, I have seen how poor nutrition fuels the growing challenge of non-communicable diseases in our communities. My involvement with AfyaFix programs equipped me with practical tools to educate patients on balanced diets and essential nutrients. This has strengthened my capacity to support families in making healthier choices, and I am proud to witness positive changes in their health and well-being.
